Cool Peel Laser
Cool Peel is CO2 laser resurfacing delivered in very short pulses, so it treats the surface of the skin without letting heat build up underneath. You get the benefit of CO2 technology with a fraction of the recovery — which is the whole reason to choose it.
Texture · Fine lines · Minimal downtime
What CoolPeel does
that CO2 does not.
Cool Peel uses the same fractional CO2 technology as a full resurfacing treatment, but delivers it in pulses short enough that the surrounding tissue stays cool. It targets texture, fine lines, enlarged-looking pores and uneven tone.
The laser removes a fraction of the damaged surface layer in a controlled pattern. Because the pulses are so brief, the heat does not penetrate deeply, so your skin repairs quickly while still being prompted to produce new collagen.
Usually around thirty minutes, depending on the area treated.
A warm prickling during treatment. Topical numbing is available.
Expect redness and a sandpaper-like texture for a few days. Most people are presentable within two to three days.
Skin looks brighter and smoother as it heals, with continued improvement as collagen develops over the following weeks.

who should not have it.
How is this different from the CO2 Laser?
Same fractional CO2 technology, different intensity. Cool Peel delivers it in pulses short enough that the surrounding tissue stays cool, which is why recovery is two to three days rather than a week. A full CO2 resurfacing goes deeper and reaches more in one session, and asks for the longer recovery in return.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people see a difference after one CoolPeel session, but a course of three spaced about a month apart is common for texture and tone. The number depends on how much sun damage and textural change there is to work through, and your consultation will set the expectation for your skin before you book anything.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe the CoolPeel as hot prickling, similar to a rubber band snapped against the skin. Topical numbing is applied beforehand and the treatment itself usually takes about thirty minutes. Afterwards the skin feels warm and tight, closer to mild sunburn than to pain.
Who should not have this treatment?
The CoolPeel is not appropriate for anyone with an active skin infection or an open wound in the area, anyone recently and heavily sun-exposed, anyone taking photosensitizing medication, and anyone pregnant. A history of cold sores does not rule you out but should be disclosed. Your consultation confirms whether the treatment is appropriate for you.
What should I avoid afterwards?
After a CoolPeel, avoid direct sun, active skincare such as retinol and vitamin C, and heat — saunas, hot yoga, hot baths — while your skin is healing. Expect redness and a sandpaper-like texture for a few days. Daily SPF 30 or higher is not optional afterwards, because new skin burns easily and pigments unevenly.
How much does it cost?
The CoolPeel is priced per session, and texture work is usually a short series — so the honest figure is the course your skin needs, which the consultation establishes. You will be given an exact figure at your consultation, before anything is booked or committed to. For a range in advance, call the practice and ask.
